Research Team of the Thailand–China Trade and Investment Policy Development Project Collaborates with YEAL to Establish the 2CTIC Center in Lao PDR

The research team from the project “Developing New Trade and Investment Policy Models to Support and Promote Trade and Investment in the Thai–China Economic Corridor,” led by Professor Dr. Akkaporn Kokkangphlu of Khon Kaen University, together with Dr. Wannipha Kudsila and Professor Wanida Onlamai, met with the President of the Young Entrepreneur Association of Laos (YEAL) to discuss cooperation in trade and investment among Thailand, Laos, and China.

This collaboration aims to establish the “Cross Cultural Trade & Investment Center” (2CTIC) in Lao PDR, which will serve as a hub for developing business networks, connecting entrepreneurs, and promoting trade and investment between Thailand, Laos, and China.

Key Objectives of the 2CTIC Center

✅ Serve as a central hub for cross-border trade and investment information among Thailand, Laos, and China
✅ Promote economic and policy cooperation through research and development
✅ Support young entrepreneurs in expanding business opportunities into the Chinese market
✅ Provide a forum for exchanging knowledge and innovations in trade, investment, and culture

This collaboration represents an important step in strengthening the economic and trade infrastructure by leveraging policy research as a driving force for economic development in the Mekong sub-region.

The research team expresses its gratitude to the Young Entrepreneur Association of Laos (YEAL) for their support and hopes that the 2CTIC Center will become a key catalyst in linking economies and fostering sustainable regional cooperation.
